Rocaid thermal spraying

Oxide ceramics such as aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, and chromium oxide can be sprayed.

◆◇◆ What is Localized Thermal Spraying (Rod-Type Frame Spraying) ◆◇◆ Ceramic rods are continuously supplied and melted in an oxygen-acetylene flame, and then atomized into fine particles by compressed air and continuously sprayed. Oxide ceramics such as aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, and chromium oxide can be sprayed. Since only fully melted materials are sprayed, the sprayed coating does not contain unmelted particles, resulting in a high bonding strength between particles, which leads to a relatively tough coating.

Rokido thermal spraying

A coating with high interparticle bonding strength can be obtained! There is less thermal impact on the base material.

We would like to introduce our "Rokaido Thermal Spraying." This method uses an oxygen-acetylene flame as the melting heat source and employs sintered rod-shaped thermal spray materials, with a melting temperature of approximately 3000°C. Only fully melted particles are accelerated and injected using an air jet flow, allowing for high flexibility of the equipment and the advantage of being able to spray onto complex-shaped substrates in pinpoint areas. 【Features】 ■ Only fully melted ceramic particles are injected, resulting in a coating with high inter-particle bonding strength. ■ The melting temperature is lower than that of plasma spraying, resulting in less thermal impact on the substrate. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
